Best Smoothie Recipe: EVA, EVA!

½ cup of unsweetened almond milk
½ cup of pineapple (I use frozen)
½ cup of mango (I use frozen)
½ banana
¾ cup of kale (I use frozen)
5 coconut water ice cubes (or ½ cup of coconut water… or you can use regular water)
1 scoop of whey protein
1 tbs. flax seed

Blend together in blender, add water if desired to make it less thick. I have a setting on my blender that is for frozen drinks, I usually hit that twice.

This make a very large smoothie (blender bottle plus a little more). I use this as a meal substitute for breakfast and occasionally lunch. This smoothie keeps me full for 3-4 hours thanks to the protein and flax seed. It is also great running fuel (potassium helps to fight against leg cramps), coconut water has natural electrolytes that assist in hydrating (side note, great hang over cure!) and the sugar from the fruit gives me energy.
